PEOPLE MANAGEMENT – OPERATIONS – BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

MID SIZE CRO CONSULTING COMPANY BASED IN COPENHAGEN.

On behalf of customer People Company is looking for a COO to a full service medical device CRO consulting company. The COO main responsibility is to oversee the organization’s ongoing operations, procedures and future strategic implementation. You will be the company’s second-in-command and responsible for the efficiency of business.

It will be the responsibility of the COO to plan, direct and oversee the company's operational policies, rules, initiatives, and goals. Furthermore, to help the organisation execute long-term and short-term plans and directives by implementing judgement, vision, management and leadership.

The COO role is a key member of the senior management team, reporting only to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). You’ll have to maintain control of diverse business operations including excellent people management skills, business acumen and exemplary work ethics. The goal of the COO position is to secure the functionality of business to drive extensive and sustainable growth based on deep understanding of the business and optimization opportunities.

Chief Operating Officer Job Duties:

  • Measures effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes both internally and externally and finds ways to improve processes
  • Responsible for EBIT goals and price strategies
  • Develops and implements growth strategies
  • Acts as a liaison between company and client for quality assurance
  • Provides mentoring to all employees, including management and development
  • Motivates staff to meet or surpass organisational and sales goals
  • Coordinates with human resources department to recruit skilled talent and keep the best employees
  • Oversees daily operations and makes adjustments as necessary
  • Presents new ideas and cash flow strategies to board of directors and other company officers
  • Directs acquisitions and sales of assets to meet organisation goals
  • Evaluates newly implemented sales plans and train employees in solution selling techniques
  • Promotes communication between colleagues for the benefit of information flow and to curb any problems that arise
  • Be responsible for certain project and have own billable time

Chief Operating Officer Skills and Qualifications:

  • We are looking for an experienced and successful industry-known and reputated candidate.
  • Besides that we expect you to have good Computational Skills, Interpersonal Skills, Legal Compliance, Customer Service knowledge, Financial Analysis Skills and you are more than familiar with Certification, Logistics Knowledge, Accounting Knowledge, IT Knowledge, Public Speaking, Problem Solving, Plan Implementation, Critical Thinking, Presentation Skills, Motivational Knowledge, Product Knowledge, Leadership, Time Management, Crisis Management, Risk Management. And you have of course exceptional Oral and Written Communication Skills, Budgeting and Sales Experience and Strategic Planning Skills.
